CONSIDER A DAY TRIP TO NORFOLK

A pleasant day trip from Williamsburg, VA is taking a drive to Norfolk and paying a visit to the USS Wisconsin! The USS Wisconsin is an actual battleship - offering FREE tours!

To drive to Norfolk from Williamsburg will take you about an hour (without traffic). You'll be traveling on I-64 which will take you across the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. Driving over the bridge, you'll be quite close to the water's surface - a beautiful view especially on sunny, clear days. Norfolk is vastly different than Williamsburg. The boardwalk in Norfolk is a nice way to spend an afternoon. With many diverse restaurants to choose from and several water related activities (such as the battleship tour or an afternoon cruise), you'll surely enjoy your time!
